Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. By browsing the store or buying from it, you agree to them. Please read them before you order.
1. Who we are
This store is operated by Milo & Co. ("we", "us", "our"), trading from the United Kingdom and shipping worldwide. "You" means the person using the site or placing an order.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that you are, and that the payment method you're using is yours to use.
3. Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours vary between screens, and photography can only tell you so much about fit — which is exactly why the 60-Day Fit Guarantee exists.
Sizing charts are a guide based on measurements, not a promise about any individual dog. Dogs of the same weight can need different sizes. Measure the chest.
We may change or discontinue a product at any time.
4. Pricing and errors
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice. We take care with pricing, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a system or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We'll tell you before we do.
Comparison prices shown alongside a current price are the price the item has previously been offered at by us.
5. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods, not when you click the button. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where a product is unavailable, where we suspect fraud, or where an order appears to be for resale. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
Quantity limits may apply.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We don't see or store your full card number. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend or cancel any related order.
7. Discount codes and offers
Discount codes are for the use described where they're published. Unless we say otherwise, they can't be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or expire at any time. Countdowns and limited-time framing on the site describe an offer we're currently running, not a promise that the price will never appear again.
Free items included with a bundle are conditional on the qualifying purchase.
8. Shipping and returns
Delivery estimates, costs and lost-parcel handling are set out in our Shipping Policy. Returns, exchanges and refunds are set out in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
9. Product safety
A dog life jacket is safety equipment, and how it is fitted and used matters. Our Product Safety Notice sets out important limits on what this product can and cannot do. Please read it — it forms part of these terms.
10. Content on this site
Articles and guides on this site, including anything we publish about canine water safety, exhaustion, drowning or first aid, are general information. They are not veterinary advice and are not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified veterinary professional. If your dog is unwell or has been in the water and seems affected, contact a vet.
11. Intellectual property
The text, photography, video, logos, design and code on this site belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and share links to our pages. You may not copy our product photography or copy for your own store, or use our brand names or logos without written permission.
ChinLift™ and Milo & Co. are trade marks used by us in connection with these products.
12. Reviews and anything you submit
If you send us a review, photo, video or comment, you keep ownership of it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with the store and our marketing. You confirm that it's yours to give, that it's your own honest experience, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
We may decline to publish, or remove, anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.
13. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, transmit malware, scrape or harvest data, interfere with its security or operation, or misrepresent who you are.
14. Third-party links and services
The store integrates services from other companies and may link to sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Their terms apply when you use them.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided as it is. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any content on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
None of this affects the legal guarantees that apply to the goods themselves, or any right you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country or state where you live, and you may be able to bring proceedings there.
19. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
20. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a term isn't a waiver of it. These terms, together with the policies they reference, are the whole agreement between us.
